HOW TO SAVE A LIFE
CALL FOR HELP
Call for help. Send someone to call 9-1-1 and get an AED.
CHECK FOR BREATHING
Tap and shout! Look for no breathing or only gasping.
PERFORM CPR
Push hard and fast at a rate of 100-120 compressions per minute. Give 30 compressions. Open the airway and give 2 breathes. Repeat.
USE AN AED
When an AED arrives, turn it on and follow the prompts voiced through the machine.
